The house belongs to a joint family of 3 generations with Vastu being a crucial factor considered for the design. The client required a 3-bedroom home with workspace and puja room.
This garden facing apartment gives a soothing and relaxing view throughout the day and night, as every room and activity is designed having the outward looking view.
The approach was to convert a 4bhk into 3bhk and designing the other room as a workspace cum puja area, making the apartment look spacious and reviving.
Many civil changes were done to make the apartment look grand and gain ample of natural light to every corner of the house.
While keeping the color palette rather muted, a variety of textures have been used in drawing room to add depth and shadows to the element. The stone cladded wall acts as a perfect backdrop to the furniture of the drawing room.
The color palette is kept sober with the combination of solid wood and color PU finish gives modern appeal to the aesthetics of the space.
The balcony fetches the west natural light into drawing room, dining and kitchen making the apartment look grand as it gains ample of natural light to every corner of the house.
The drawing room opens to a cozy sitting balcony, completed with a swing that enhances the beauty of this space along with the pleasing view.
The bedrooms are designed to reflect the occupant’s personality, while not losing sight of the home’s overall character and materiality.
The carved out pattern of grill door is reflected in the main door as well as in the vestibule as a backdrop. The impact of mirror-wall mural with the same pattern gives a beautiful sense of entry to the house.
The Dining top is gorgeous artificial white marble that makes the space even more spacious and light.
The grey PU finish is filleted on the wall of kitchen that compliments the overall color palette of the house. The Corian finish top for the platform and PU finish for the furniture keeps the kitchen bright and natural.
